Problem
Before joining the Revenue and Financial Management org (RFM), each team was operating on a different roadmap system. There was great opportunity to consolidate 7 models into one operating system to:
Bring transparency into each team’s priorities and workload.
Give clarity on project updates in an evergreen manner.
Connect the dots to any overlapping dependencies.
My Approach
Worked with Design Leadership and Individual Contributors to understand what was working well in the current system and the gaps.
Got buy in from a Design team of 20 to merge into one operating system.
Continuously collected feedback to iterate and improve.
Results
Identified a need for a new Design Review program specific for this org.
Re-prioritize a team’s workload if there was a new, pressing project.
Celebrate the Design work and share out learnings to strengthen the Design org.
Cross share important info to broader Design forums.
